Jody Lee Drafta
I’m an artist and writer working across sculpture, drawing, and photography. My work has been shown widely in exhibitions across the U.S. and was previously part of the curated artist registries at White Columns and The Drawing Center in New York. Honors include a MacDowell Colony Residency and the Dozier Travel Grant from the Dallas Museum of Art.
Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, I studied German Literature at Reed College (B.A., Phi Beta Kappa), then went on to earn a B.F.A. from the University of Washington and an M.F.A. from Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts. I now live and work in Maplewood, New Jersey.
